CONSULTING AND TRAINING FOR A CHILD’S FIRST TEACHERS
Child Care Training, Educational Support Services and Parental and Caregiver Learning
MSDE Approved Clock Hour Trainings
Fees and Fee Structures:
- $ 33 per participant for 3 clock hours
- $ 25 per participant for 2 clock hours
-Organizations over 10 call for rates
-$40 returned check fee
-$5 certificate replacement fee
REGISTRATION POLICY
Payment must be received at the time of registration. To register for a course, choose the event below and choose the payment method to complete the order. No walk-ins permitted. No money will be collected at the door. All participants must be present for the entire class to receive a certificate (participants of online platforms must be in view of the camera “live”) for the listed clock hours. Class begins on time. Participants who arrive later than 15 minutes will be given a credit to be applied to another training within 6 months. Certificates will be presented or mailed at the end of the course. We do not email certificates. No children are permitted to attend training workshops due to liability, limitations and a lack of appropriate environment. Confirmations will be emailed 24 hours prior to the training. If no email is provided, you may call to confirm your registration.
TRAINING AND EDUCATIONAL CONSULTING
Beth Hancock offers Core of Knowledge training in the content areas of: Child Development, Curriculum & Environment; Observation, Screening & Assessment, Health, Safety & Nutrition, Effective Interactions, Special Needs, Family Engagement & Community Partnerships, and Professionalism. These trainings satisfy the Office of Child Care requirements to receive and maintain a family or center based child care license. Trainings are held on Saturdays and weekday evenings. Currently some trainings are delivered through Zoom or another online meeting platform. In- person center based trainings can be scheduled. Bulk training workshops can be offered on-site at a discount price.
Accommodations and Special Assistance:
For accommodations or special assistance, please give notification at the time of registration. All classes are open to the public. Parents are welcome.
Refund Policy:
Refunds are only issued in the circumstance that the facilitator cancels the training. If you can not attend a training, please call 24 hours in advance and we will happily apply the credit to another course within 45 days, or the fee is forfeited.
Cancellation:
The facilitator reserves the right to cancel a class. You will receive a call notifying you of the cancellation and your money will be returned, or transferred to another class.
